I am a lifelong coach and trainer, with a focus on developing your mastery or leadership: for your company, your career, and your life. I think of taking charge of your life as self-mastery. I've been director of human development for a software company, consultant and coach for large and small companies, and co-founder of a nationally recognized career development organization. Representative clients include KLM Airlines (the Netherlands), Polaroid Corporation, MetLife Auto & Home, AverStar, Thomson Financial Services, and Massachusetts Audubon Society. I've also coached mid-career professionals at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government and served as a career makeover expert at monster.com. I work internationally, and I'm positioned to work on the cutting edge of leadership and career management issues. I am also a writer, public speaker, and featured expert on radio and television shows. Perhaps my most challenging job (and most rewarding) was a 15-year stint as a single parent, and I take pride in having enabled two young boys to become accomplished and thoughtful grown men.  I am among the first Master Certified Coaches (MCC) credentialed by The International Coaching Federation (top 1% of all coaches). A graduate of New York City's Bronx High School of Science, and Brandeis University, with a degree in psychology. I have continued my education with courses at Boston College School of Management, outplacement training, certification in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, family systems theory and applications for business, as well as holistic studies. My training as a coach includes Corporate CoachU International, Coaches Training Institute, The Newfield Network, Thomas Leonard (the late founder of the coaching profession), and an ongoing series of teachers, both traditional and leading edge, since I am a dedicated lifelong learner.  I am intuitive and analytical, serious and playful. Whether wise or whimsical, I am always present. I value authenticity. I welcome paradox, and I tell you the truth.
